One of Danielle’s final aspirations was to help build a library at Toledo Elementary School, where her mom grew up. As a lifelong avid reader, Danielle believed in sharing the love of reading with others, and this project became deeply personal to her.
In early 2024, with the support of generous donors, our foundation began construction on the library. By midyear, the building was completed, and on December 19, 2024, the library officially opened its doors, offering a small collection of books for eager readers to enjoy.
This project is still a work in progress. We aim to furnish the library with additional shelves, books, tables, chairs, and a computer or laptop to create a welcoming and resourceful space for the students. It’s incredibly rewarding to see Danielle’s vision come to life, and we are excited to continue building on her legacy.
