Danielle’s first project revolving around ecology started at Francis Libermann CHS where she was involved with the creation of the extracurricular Green Team program. The STEAM Program at the school required funding to take the students to Tommy Thompson Park, a man-made jetty into Lake Ontario that is a model of environmental stewardship. Different habitats have been created that support a diverse community of plants and animals. It is a popular destination for many urban dwellers.
