Danielle was one of three chosen to represent Canada’s youth at the 2019 United Nations Environmental Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. The three ambassadors were to gather ideas from other environmentalists and activists and convene a conversation hub for Canadian youth to discuss how Canada could best deal with the climate

Danielle used her time to support Spirit of the Buffalo Camp an indigenous organization under Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition. They protested against Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline to be located on unceded territory in Manitoba. She helped create signs and attended rallies in support of the cause.
Danielle joined the first Ocean Bridge cohort which was a group of 40 like-minded environmentally conscious active youth from all across Canada. One of the responsibilities of being a part of this cohort was to create a service project that benefits the community that they live in. As part of
Danielle volunteered for this Waterlution which is a non-profit “internationally recognized water-focused organization offering distinctive capacity building, leadership and facilitation training to spark and mentor innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs in the water and climate change space.” She was accepted to its Youth Advisory Board and attended a workshop in Squamish
